Futurecom takes place in the city of Florianopolis, capital of the State of Santa Catarina, which has approx. 500.000 inhabitants. The reason why the event is held in this city and not in the region Rio – São Paulo, is to create an environment where the most renowned professionals can exchange experiences, do business and sign agreements far away from the frenetic rhythm of the large metropolis, being able to appreciate the whole event potential and all resources the beautiful city of Florianopolis can offer.
The Convention Center that welcomes Futurecom participants is Centro Sul, located downtown, approx. 20 minutes far from the airport and also from the beautiful region of Conceição Lagoon. The address of the Convention Center is: Avenida Governador Gustavo Richard, s/nº - Aterro da Baía Sul – 88010-290 Florianopolis – Santa Catarina – Brazil. It has over 10.000 m2, ground floor and upper floor, one for the Exhibition and the other one for Conference Rooms and Business Suites.
Futurecom takes place annually in the month of October. It was held six times in Florianopolis and now it is on the way to its ninth edition.
